The Meaning of Life"
Is it in the lessons we learn
Or the ideas we share
Fragmented moments stuck in time
As the seconds tick swiftly away
You sit and ponder life
As you loose the light of day
The path you think you must follow
I wonder why you now choose
For if is to seek my return
You are only certain to loose
For in that time
You once said you loved me
And I took it to heart
Is now all but a bitter-sweet memory
I was burned more than once
By the touch of you love
Crying enough tears
To flood the heavens above
I have now moved on
Somehow trying not to care
But in the end
All said and done
I still do care
Care that you find the meaning of life
Somewhere.

I think the ending really makes this peice what it is...
because... i dunno.
You see, I like most anything a person writes, as long as it's.... "truthful"...
I like the end of this one the most though.
To me this poem could be more concise, and still get it's point across, but hey, i've never been one to be short in poems... so...
